JL performed the immunostaining, DAF-16::GFP localization, qRT-PCR, co-IP, and ChIP experiments; AE generated hcf-1::gfp strains, performed the stress assays with help from JL and GR, the dauer and Nile Red assays with help from JL; YD generated the anti-HCF-1 antibody. JL, AE, and SSL wrote the paper.
