wow, achingly beautiful review and I look forward to the book. Even as someone who see value in genomics and other indoor biologies for evolution and applied sciences, there's no comparison to species in their milieu and those who spent their lives battling heat, cold, and uncountable parasites to record them. Makes our work seem so binary (quaternary?). Maybe some of the insights here will give a bioinformaticist her conditions for parole.
