Dear Catriona,

For someone who follows such issues closely, I am grateful for you taking the time to have a Paper like this published and made freely and widely accessible.

To me personally, you hit the nail on the head with "Authors and
funders need to be much more aware
of the small print before inadvertently
signing away their rights and those of
their readers and, even worse, paying
good money for the privilege."

This cap is certainly tipped for coinage of a most relevant and poignant expression *Lego Factor*.

Well done !!

Graham
